Phoenix Arizona Biltmore

From San Diego we drove to Phoenix to enjoy an day and night at the Arizona Biltmore hotel.  The Hotel has Franklin Loyd Wright inspired Architecture and quite a history and stories at every turn.  The Wrigley family (chewing gum magnates) owned the hotel from 1929-1973. They held black tie events, movie stars and high society types wandered the property on a regular basis.  The lobby has a gold leaf ceiling which is second only to the Taj Mahal.
Guests include all the US Presidents, Dukes  and Duchesses, Elton John, Frank Sinatra, Clark Gable, Marilyn Monroe, Harpo Marx and many many others.
But it all comes back to the beautiful architecture..........We also especially enjoyed our pool time!
